A manual imposition tool, PuzzleFlow PlaceIt provides for a maximum optimization of the medium. It supports the imposition of various, often irregular shapes and forms such as: packages, labels, stickers, POSM, wobblers etc…

Description:
A manual imposition tool, PuzzleFlow PlaceIt provides for a maximum optimization of the medium. It supports the imposition of various, often irregular shapes and forms such as: packages, labels, stickers, POSM, wobblers etc…
PlaceIt provides for a simple step-and-repeat imposition as well as import of CFF2 format (CAD based systems) describing the layout structure. Our product can be used to impose the different separations of one page, on one plate. A built-in CMS (Color Management System) makes sure that correct color is produced. Additional features allow to validate and output the imposition job to the most popular formats (PDF, PJTF, JDF/JMF), providing problem free integration with any prepress workflow or RIP systems.

Publication window – here is an example of the user interface. Additional features such as positioning tools make your job more easy and more effective.
Source page properties – in this section projects can be scaled, rotated, modified, bleed area can be redefined (Format, Cropping, Tiling and size tabs). In this window the operator defines imposition layout (Imposition tab) and can specify the parameters of trapping for each page independently (Trapping tab).
Plate properties window – in this section the operator specifies plate parameters such as: size, margins, trimming (General tab). In this window it is possible to define the position of print marks (Marks tab). PlaceIt allows the operator for independent control over plate and press sheet parameters (Media size tab).
At each stage the operator can use a build-in preview to ensure that the output will be precisely accurat.
