JDF Support

PuzzleFlow offers a revolutionary level of cooperation with devices meeting JDF standards. Thanks to the JDF Gate You can easily process the documents submitted by external systems for production management – MIS. The module in just a few seconds can turn PuzzleFlow into a JDF device. JDF devices, communicate with other devices with the help of JMF protocol and deals with more advanced tasks like imposition, color conversion, trapping, page cutting and JPG preview production.

JDF Gate

A module to interface JDF based MIS systems with PuzzleFlow server. With JDF Gate the PuzzleFlow system turns into real JDF controller with ability to process single or multiple JDF prepress processes. JDF Gate offers JDF1.2 compatibility and can handle simple, as well as compound, processes including Imposition Trapping ColorSpaceConversion, Separation, Tiling and Preview. JDF Gate communicates with JDF based MIS system using hot folder or JMF communication channels to monitor processing status. It comes with dedicated HTTP server for JMF/JDF exchange and data files upload.
