Personalization
Personalisation in PuzzleFlow is an automatic process of placing additional layers on or under the source document. As a result, you can superimpose watermarks, create documents in many language versions or number the pages. The superimposed layers can be framed and adapted to the size of publication before placing them in the document. The bar code module, which marks plates according to their processing parameters, proves to be a valuable tool.
Personalizer
![]()
Personalizer places personalization layers, represented by external PDF files. All layers can be cropped, scaled, reoriented and then placed as a background or as a front layer. Each can be conditionally turned off or displaced according to the list of specified conditions. Personalizer can optionally use the Resource module to locate personalization files. Layers can be inserted into the original PDF as annotations or an optional (PDF 1.5) content stream.
AnnotationFlattener
![]()
AnnotFlattener removes, flattens (moves to page content) or retains selected annotations used in PDF documents. In particular, annotations like printer marks or trap net, can be migrated into the standard page content stream. When flattening the annotation can be marked using the optional content stream description.
LayerManager
![]()
LayerManager – removes, flattens (merges with the page content), shows or hides layers defined in PDF 1.5 documents. Different actions can be assigned to each layer based on its prosperities.
Barcode
![]()
Barcode generates and overlays barcodes on input pages. The module supports most types of the standards including EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN, 2 of 5, Code 39, 128 B, 128 C. The bar code contents can contain run-time data such as the job name, processing the time and more.
