RIP’s and proofers

The combination of PuzzleFlow’s merits and a modern RIP from Founder Electronics- EagleRIP V8 guarantees the best quality within the scope of ripping. EagleRIP deals with the PDF 1.5 standard and is able to generate one-bit and multi-tone images in TIFF, JPEG, EPS or DCS format, as well as Postscript Level 2 (for use in older systems). The RIP can generate plates with the help of the whole family of AM and stochastic screening, including the ability for mixed screening. The system is available together with the Image Proofer program used for the review and measurement of ripped, raster files.

Sophisticated color correction and management PuzzleFlow offers a modern system of color management based on the ICC profiles. Thanks to it, the full conversion of color spaces, profile removal and the swapping of colors is possible.
The above operations may comprise the whole document or the selected groups of objects (text, vector graphics and images). The CMS system deals with device-link-type profiles and the emulation for proofers.

PuzzleFlow processes both composite and separated documents and makes it possible to convert a document of one type into a document of the other type and vice versa. The options of the system within the range of manipulating spot colours are complemented by ColorMapper, which enables you to modify, remove, and convert selected spot colors into CMYK.

Eagler RIP

EagleRIP – fully featured, powerfull multithreading PDF/X and PDF-1.5 RIP with 1-bit and contone composite or separated output. It generates TIFF (PC,MAC), JPEG, EPSF, DCSF, and PostScript Level2 files with rasterized pages. The module automatically separates composite jobs for separation output and recombines separated jobs for the composite output formats. Full-duplex comunication with the RIP engine allows managing the ripped jobs directly from PuzzleFlow and recognizing all the PDF settings defined within the PuzzleFlow framework.
