PuzzleFlow Solutions at IFRA Expo 2008

Warszawa, 11 November, 2008

The Polish-based ACCHSH company, the producer of the highly advanced PuzzleFlow system and PuzzleFlow-based solutions, e.g. those devoted for the publishing market, presented its offer at the recent IFRA Expo 2008 trade fair. The company demonstrated its newest solutions for newspaper publishers and printers: new versions of PuzzleFlow Automator and PuzzleFlow Publisher software as well as PuzzleFlow PoD system, which debuted at this year’s drupa 2008 fair.

At IFRA Expo 2007 the Amsterdam-headquartered PuzzleFlow Solutions Europe, a center of research & promotions created jointly by ACCHSH and the Dutch company Ready4Print, was officially launched. Both companies had showed their first common solutions dedicated for newspaper market then. At this year’s IFRA Expo, PuzzleFlow Solutions Europe demonstrated PuzzleFlow Publisher, a mature and market-ready solution which has been already implemented in several companies. The program enables the management of graphic documents circulation and allows for PDF file verification, optimizing and preparation for printing. The software enables job organization and makes the management process of numerous publications and editions very easy. The system offers access to many users: designers, editors, technical staff and managers.

Andrzej Czyz, CEO of ACCHSH, says: “Considering the fact that this year’s IFRA Expo was organized in Amsterdam, the presence of our Dutch partner at our stand was quite natural. The solutions offered by PuzzleFlow Solutions Europe are successfully used in a daily production by some companies, including Sanoma – the biggest Dutch magazine publisher.”

Another product shown at IFRA Expo 2008 was PuzzleFlow Automator, a production automating server allowing for file preflighting and correction. This Internet-based application enables notification of possible technical problems in files, dynamic fitting of documents’ format as well as their naming. PuzzleFlow supports advertisement acquisition and archiving systems.

The third solution promoted in Amsterdam was PuzzleFlow PoD system which had its market debut several months earlier, at the drupa 2008 fair in Düsseldorf. PuzzleFlow PoD is an extensive application which supports and automates many tasks at printing houses. It offers, for example, the following functions: acquiring, conversion, submission and verifying of jobs (supplied by the PuzzleFlow Express module) as well as automated prepress corrections, job management, approval and preview (as part of a MIS system). The solution allows for online co-operation between all production centres, from ordering a job by a customer, to job submission for printing.

“We found this year’s IFRA Expo fair very successful” – Andrzej Czyz continues. – “Our booth, promoted under the motto “Relax – time for automation” was crowded with visitors from the whole world, including our numerous customers and partners, attracted by the newest PuzzleFlow-based solutions. We had many interesting meetings with possible users of publishing solutions based on our flagship system, as well as with partners interested in a co-operation on development and sales of PuzzleFlow programs. We hope that some of them will transform into new license contracts and partnership agreements.”

It’s worth to mention that IFRA Expo was another opportunity for showing the PuzzleFlow-based solutions to an international audience in 2008. In recent months ACCHSH participated in several important trade shows, including drupa 2008 in Düsseldorf, Graph Expo in Chicago and KIPES in Seoul.
